As the days go by

apparent to me

I'm minus without

The doubts
were real
that I had
but still

bit of my heart

didn't want to be apart
didn't want to be solo
but now..I know..
to do what is best for me
No..we could never be
I think back
to never coming first
many times back tracked
and remember how it hurt
and you would have kept on
kept on..stringing me alone
a man that's self seeking
indeed
nothing unique and
no sensitivity
just a front
on your face
stunts
and games to replace
where love should be
No pride or dignity
just another empty soul
and another hollow hole..

A TIME TO MATURE

In life there is so much we endure
some people live their life unsure
some try to remain pure
and some never want to mature

Some chose to be like the finest of wines
Growing stronger in time
with a taste that's so divine
Uniqueness in it's own kind

Some find it hard to grow
afraid to let go
of the burdened issues that float
clueless... but they never know

However,,

Life always has an outcome
whether one chooses to run
Or take a stand and get the job done
We were all born to be some-one

Nothing in life comes for free
not even the air we breath
can't afford to live life daydreaming
So I find myself Maturing..

growing
and showing
strength
willing to go the length
wisdom leads
I am God's seed.

A time To Mature

UNANNOUNCED

At home relaxing
The Tv's the main attraction
along with my ash tray
just another typical day
been spending time adjusting
taking more time out for resting
my mind
that's so filled up^ all the time
cluttered with so much stuff and confusion
with certain situations in my life like an intrusion
trying to get it right and get it together fast
never allowing myself to completely crash
then out of no-where
who could be there???
because the door bell rang
plain
and simple
My temple's closed
yes! to all of those
who have not been invited
No need to get excited
as if
I'm going to answer that door
won't let my feet even touch the floor
I know who it is that's here
It's that same game playing man that disappears
then reappears when he's ready for some affection
I have nothing left for him but rejection
He's so pressed that now he's knocking
Let him keep on until he just stop and
I'm not feeling all that & can't wait until he bounce
Having the nerve to come to my crib unannounced..

I aim for success each and every day
Dropping off some wisdom as I go about my way
God Is Great, we come from success
I'm glad we've been blessed and life's a big test
